Missing sensor

Missing sensor mic2: Rear / top microphone

Part to check: Power button flex or flash flex (depends on model)

Missing sensor mic2 means the rear / top microphone is not sending data to the thermalmonitord process. After about 180 seconds without that data, the iPhone restarts on its own and writes a Panic-Full log containing the line Missing sensor(s): mic2. Usual location: Power button flex or flash flex (depends on model). It is one of the easiest errors to trace because the log names the sensor directly. Scan the log with the Panic Scan app to see every missing sensor at once.
