Panic logs stay on your phone
Panic logs, screenshots and .ips files are analyzed on your iPhone. Panic Scan does not send them to any server.
Data stored when you create an account
- Email, display name and sign-in method (email/password, Google or Apple). Passwords are hashed with scrypt and cannot be read.
- Name and model of signed-in devices, to limit how many devices share one Pro plan.
- Pro status (App Store transaction ID and expiry). We never receive card details.
- Error code to part records you choose to send. Once approved they are used anonymously in community statistics.
Usage analytics
- The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used: number of analyses, log source (camera, photo, file), Pro screen views, Pro purchases and restores, plus basic device info (model, iOS version, language, country).
- We never send log content, error codes, screenshots, your email or your name. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across apps.
- When you download a Pro data pack, the server records the account, device and time for 90 days to prevent unauthorized sharing.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties, except infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf (servers, Firebase).
- We do not use your data for ads or track you across other apps or websites.
Deleting data
Delete your account in the app or on the Delete account page. Account details, devices, sessions and records are deleted; backups are purged within 30 days.
