Lookup

iPhone panic error lookup

What the common lines in a Panic-Full log mean, and which part to check before you open the phone.

An iPhone that restarts on its own usually leaves a Panic-Full log under Analytics Data. Each error line in that log points to a group of parts: a sensor that stopped reporting (Missing sensor), a system process that hung (watchdog timeout), an SMC value, or a coprocessor such as AOP, ANS or DCP. This lookup summarizes the meaning, severity and common causes of each error so technicians can narrow things down fast. To see exactly what is wrong with a given phone, scan or paste its log into the Panic Scan app.
